The Storks of l'Orangerie

In the Parc de l'Orangerie, the Pavillon Joséphine is also loved by the locals for the storks that nest on the building's several chimneys. In the park zoo you can see probably a hundred of the birds in a captive setting. It's the wild ones on the chimneys that are most endearing. This post is just an excuse to share some photos of the birds roosting up there.If you follow the blog, then you recognize that there have been postings on storks before. Forgive my obsession with them. Like the flowers in the windows, the storks are one of things that makes Alsace...well, makes it Alsace.
