The Bridal Shower

Lucia Nogueda is getting married on November 11....or in February sometime...depending on how you look at it. You see, she became engaged to a nice fellow named Alberto who worked with her in Geneva. Of course he wasn't from Geneva but rather from the north of Italy. And of course Lucia isn't from Geneva either but rather from Mexico. All of which means that the whole wedding situation is pretty complicated.

So, as it happens, there will be two weddings. On November 11 the two of them will have a civil service in Alberto's home town of Casteggio, Italy. Big reception is planned for the European-based relatives. Then, in February, there will be a church wedding in Mexico for Lucia's side of the family.

Jill Hagan threw a bridal shower for Lucia on Saturday, October 28. Actually, a bridal shower sounds like a dull sit-around-the-couch-and-drink-tea affair. This was, more accurately, a bachelorette party with some singing and dancing and craziness. At least that's what I'm told. I was not allowed to go. And I don't want to know what went on there.

Opening photo shows the ladies vamping it up for the camera. From the left you have Lucia, her niece Daniella, Gabi, Cindy, Andrea, Mindy, and Jill. Picture below is pretty much the same crowd.
