Katie Does Strasbourg - Part One
After the Normandy visit, Theresa and Katy were on their own. Jim's work project (the whole reason for being in Strasbourg) was nearing the final deployment date of Oct 2. No more time for vacation. No more time for much of anything. Being on their own, of course, did not slow down Theresa and Katy. Three is a crowd, after all.
[NOTE: As you can see, there has been very little time for blogging lately. This is why I'm two or three weeks behind. I'll catch up soon. I promise]
Katy did the formal tour of Strasbourg. This started out with a lunch with an old friend. The opening photo shows Katy dining with Audrey, a native of Strasbourg, who happened to be room-mate with Katy's daughter at Purdue for a year. The picture below proves that this was no ordinary restaurant. They were dining at the home of the world's largest pepper mill.
Katy also made friends with the lady below who had a stall at the street market in Place Broglie.
