The Hooters in Interlaken

A mother's love will cause a woman to do strange things. For the first 23 years of our marriage, Theresa would have blackened my eyes before letting me take here out to dinner at a Hooter's restaurant. Then her son (my son also) got a job at Hooter's in Greenwood, Indiana. Now, she is on a quest to visit all of the Hooter's in Europe.

We had previously visited a Hooter's up Neunkirchen, Germany. On Monday, November 6, she talked Chris Hagan and Mindy Beigle to driving down to Interlaken, Switzerland to visit the restaurant there.

When you go to Hooter's then, of course, you need to try the chicken wings. Theresa ordered a plate, as shown above, that looked pretty much like what you would find back home. She tells me, though, that the seasoning was not the same and that they were not so tasty as she would have liked. You see, my wife knows chicken wings like a sommelier knows fine wines.

So, the Hooter's at Interlaken better watch their back. There seems to be lots of American fast food competition in town.
