Katie Comes to Visit

Katie Gick is a long-time friend from the days when Theresa and I used to live in Lafayette, IN. On September 13, Katie arrived in Strasbourg for a two week visit. It is good to have a familiar face in the house again. Even better, it is good to have Katie spoiling us with her cooking. (She packed her suitcase full of homemade noodles and other fixings for "comfort food".)

The picture above was taken in Heidelberg. Theresa and Katie took the train up there for a day to meet another old friend, Marie Meckl. That would be Katie on the left and Marie on the right. Picture below is the expanded view, which shows the Heidelberg castle looking over the city.
