To Normandy, Across the North of France

When Katie arrived, she had a couple of things on her agenda. One was to visit the city of Lisieux. The other was to visit the beaches of Normandy, where her father landed as a medic in 1944.

So, on Friday September 15 we packed up and headed out by car to visit these places. We returned late in the evening of September 18. It was a lovely trip and a lot of experiences were packed into so few days. The next several postings will deal with this trip.
